The Ziggens are a band based out of Orange County, California whose self-described style of "cowpunksurfabilly" combines elements of cowpunk, surf, rockabilly, punk, ska, and country. The Ziggens are led by Bert Susanka who sings and plays rhythm guitar. Other members include Dickie Little on lead guitar, Jon Poutney on bass, and Brad Conyers who plays the drums and provides background vocals.[1] The Ziggens have been playing since the early 1990s and have developed a strong following in Southern California.
The Ziggens were contemporaries with Sublime and were originally signed to their Skunk Records label. Their song "Big Salty Tears" was covered and popularized by Bradley Nowell on the Sublime acoustic album. The Ziggens, and more specifically Bert Susanka were also mentioned in the Sublime song "Greatest Hits". Also, their song "Outside" is sampled in the Sublime song "Smoke Two Joints" for the line "Smoked cigarettes 'til the day she died!" The Ziggens contributed a cover of the song "Paddle Out" to the Sublime tribute album Look at All the Love We Found, released in June 2005. The Ziggens' bassist Jon Poutney formed the supergroup Volcano with Meat Puppets frontman Curt Kirkwood, Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh, and Sublime soundman Michael 'Miguel' Happoldt after the breakup of Eyes Adrift. They released one self-titled studio album in 2004. More recently, Bud Gaugh formed the band Jelly of the Month Club, a children's music side project, with Bert Susanka. The Ziggens are currently signed to Cornerstone R.A.S., which is a subsidiary of Skunk Records. Their long-awaited seventh studio album will be released in February 2020.[2]

Something Wicked Radio presents Kellie Nowell, Bradley Nowell of Sublime's little sister who heads up the family foundation and Bradley House. S20 E07
Host - Julia Hollingsworth
Guest - Kellie Nowell
OUR MISSION
Inspired by late Sublime front man Bradley Nowell, the Nowell Family Foundation provides addiction recovery services to the music community through the combined strength of the industry and those who have been touched by the power of music.
The Nowell Family Foundation is raising funds to open Bradley’s House, a six-bed recovery facility that will provide treatment for people in the music industry with opiate addiction, regardless of their financial situation. The goal is to offer a top level of clinical care, including medical detox and the ability to treat the most acute cases, through nationwide partnerships.
The Nowell Family Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation.
WHO WE ARE
For years, the Nowell family has sought ways to help others avoid the tragedy of drug overdose. While working with longtime family friend Todd “Z-Man” Zalkins, who helped Jakob Nowell (Bradley’s son) get clean and sober, the plan to create the Nowell Family Foundation evolved.
As Papa Nowell says, “We have finally found something we truly believe in doing – and that’s helping others who are struggling with addiction.”
Kellie Nowell (Bradley’s sister), who is actively involved as the executive director, is dedicated to the growth of the foundation and to ensuring its stability, allowing it to serve others for many years to come.

Unify Mountain Soundz Bio:
Within the hearts of a few small mountain town djs, a spark of inspiration to break away from the local bar and club circuit to play music outside in nature was ignited. A home stereo, a Radioshack PA system, and a few cheap lights were gathered and carried into the hills to set this spark aflame and brighten the nights of those who chose to take part in the fun. What began as a simple idea of music in nature, was metamorphosed into a lifestyle for those whose souls burned with a passion for it. From this, the collective “Summer Soundz” was solidified. Over the course of the next 10 years, growth spread from renegade parties in the desert and forest, to larger scale events and festivals across the four corners region.
In the beginning of 2017 Summer Soundz joined forces with a similar collective of fun-loving, good-hearted, and high-spirited individuals called Get It Gang Music to help throw One Vibration Music Festival. From One Vibration, Unify Mountain Soundz was born. By the fall of 2017, Unify purchased their custom green Hennessey Sound Design system and officially kicked off their journey as a multifaceted group in the underground electronic and sound system communities.
Working as a bustling artist collective, a production company, and as well as a sound system rental company, Unify Mountain Soundz hopes to help bring back and further highlight the elements of love and passion in the music industry and to unify people through high quality sound and good vibrations.

Something Wicked Radio presents Dwight Slade - Comedian Season 20 Episode 4
Host - Julia Hollingsworth
Guest - Dwight Slade
Comedian Dwight Slade has the privilege of being a comedy legend in American stand-up. Winner of the Boston Comedy Festival & Seattle International Comedy Competition, Slade combines an intelligent, raging voice of justice with a juvenile sense of unpredictability that makes every show unique and tailor made for his audience
Slade began his comedy career at the tender age of 13 in Houston, Texas. He and his friend Bill Hicks were enamored by the comedians on The Tonight show and began writing jokes to try out on friends. Soon they were defying their parent’s curfew and riding their bikes to open mikes.
Since then, Slade has achieved success in nearly every form of entertainment. He did talk radio for 3 years, appeared in the feature films, “Inconceivable” and “Rid Of Me,” and has appeared on Comedy Central, The Tonight Show and HBO’s “Best Of The US Comedy Arts Festival.”
Internationally he has appeared at Festivals in Glasgow, Scotland, the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival and 3 appearances at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival. Slade has travelled to Afghanistan to entertain US and Coalition troops and toured Israel and Pakistan.
Slade’s Hi-Def comedy special, Naughty & Nice is now a 2 disc DVD available from Humor Ink.
Slade is married and has two children.

Something Wicked Radio presents Kevin Booth- actor, producer, director, documentarian.
Host - Julia Hollingsworth

The documentary Shadows of Sofia, by Kevin Booth and friends, seek to discover the connection between Russian influence in Bulgaria and how it might parallel what's going in the States. Featured band leader of Pussy Riot, a Bulgarian pop music group, was sentenced to Siberia for hard labor for two years for practicing what we in America would know as FREE SPEECH.
Booth reveals the tension in Bulgaria is in part due to the shadowy underworld created when the Russians left the country, leaving behind a mafia that has since become the governent.
